Charlie Cox's role as Daredevil/Matt Murdock is now fully integrated into the MCU thanks to Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk. But for The Man Without Fear, that's just the start. In preparation for his own blockbuster 18-episode series in 2024, the street-level hero is also getting in shape. Now, Cox has shared the minor changes he would make to the character for his upcoming outing.
"We'll hopefully be able to employ a little bit more CGI in the action sequences on the Disney Plus show Born Again, though I hope we do it sparingly because I think it should be done sparingly. Just to highlight his nearly unimaginable gymnastic skills, "Cox said in an interview with GQ.
Cox also cites more intense comic book-like scenes as something that would set Born Again apart from his previous three-season run as the character on Netflix. One such scene features Daredevil hitting someone after rebounding his baton off a wall.
Cox added that these small details would "lift situations" and "make the show much more familiar to the comics."
Disney Plus will debut Daredevil: Born Again in the spring of 2024. Since the conclusion of Netflix's Daredevil series in 2018, the series will mark the first time that Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin and Charlie Cox's "very good lawyer" will be reunited.
